PORTFOLIO: Overnight Cottage Respite
36 hours per week
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position is with ourCommonwealth Respite and Carelink Centre and is funded by the Federal Government to provide respite options for carers and information services to the general community. CRCC in Northern Tasmania is auspiced by Family Based Care (North).
The position involves coordinating our Overnight Cottage Respite program. This involves client contact, liaising with Direct Care Workers and rostering. Dedication to professional client service together with the ability to support Direct Care Workers in a positive manner is essential. Ability to work within budget and program guidelines is also essential.
Previous experience as a Coordinator in a similar position will be an advantage.
PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE:

· Completed or part completed Degree or Diploma in a Health related area
· Experience in the field of disability/aged care
TERMS & CONDITIONS:
· Terms and conditions as per the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010 with remuneration equal to Level 5/6 position Community Services Employment is 36 hours per week.
· Ten year long service leave period and in accordance with Long Service Leave legislation.
· Salary packaging available after completion of probation period which is designed to add value to wages.
· Intrastate travelling may be required.
· Vehicle provided during work hours.
· Driver’s licence and provision of current National Police Report ( within last three years) essential.
