Direct Care Worker Employment Register

Family Based Care (North) is a community based non-profit organisation providing extensive support services to people who are frail aged and/or people with disabilities and their carers. 

Expressions of interest for Direct Care Worker positions (Support Workers & Home Help Assistants)  are welcome.  Please contact the Launceston office on (03) 6333 3999 or email us and your details will be added to our Employment Register.  You will be contacted should any positions become available.

Applicants for Support Worker positions are required to have completed a minimum Certificate III in Community Services Aged and /or Disability Services. 

Our Home Help Assistant applicants need only demonstrate the ability to provide cleaning services in a friendly and approachable manner but previous experience as a cleaner would be held in high regard. 

All applicants need to present a National Police Check at interview.
