About the Services we Provide

FBC is a client-focussed service that aims to enhance the quality of life of clients and allow them to live independently in the community while ensuring that clients do not enter residential care prematurely by;

· Providing support within the clients own home or community setting.

· Providing sufficient reliable support to enable clients, primary carers and their families to enjoy a regular or occasional break from their usual routine.

Funding

We receive funding from a variety of State and Federal government departments and this allows us to manage a wide variety of programs. These programs all have different guidelines and offer different types of support.

To reduce confusion and ensure no client is disadvantaged, the Board of Management has committed itself to joining together as many service types as possible and applying the same rules wherever we are allowed to and still meet the obligations placed on us by the funding bodies.

Service Reviews

FBC conducts an internal review of its service delivery policies and procedures every three years. As a client, you may wish to participate in these reviews and notification will be sent to you at the appropriate time. There is no obligation on any client to participate. This is not a review of the services that you receive.
